Rocking Lamp è una lampada che utilizza la tecnologia oled. Lo starting point è stato il kit messo a disposizione dalla LG: due fonti oled di forma quadrata (10x10 cm) da cui partire a progettare. Rocking Lamp gioca sui contrasti: fonti luminose dalla forma così rigida si relazionano ad un corpo morbido, dall’aspetto organico e leggero. L’interazione, in questa lampada, è fondamentale: grazie alla base basculante e all’utilizzo di incastri a sfera per le luci, l’utente può utilizzarla in numerosissime configurazioni, a seconda della tipologia d’illuminazione di cui ha bisogno.
Rocking Lamp is a table lamp with oled technology. It was the first project I did during the master at Marangoni. I started from an oled light source given by LG company: two light squares of 10 x 10 cm as size. Rocking Lamp has a contrast language in the shape: the lights are rigid and squared, while the structure is organic and light. Moreover the rocking base allows the lamp to oscillate. Thanks to this and to spherical joints on the top, the user can move the light as he wants, depending of the kind of light he needs.
